Duration: about 55 minutes.
An atypical concert that ranges from ballads to noise music to reggaeton to folklore. An irreverent show in which LA MARIA, explores and deconstructs the emotional architecture and cultural imagery contained in the lyrics and melodies of some love songs, Mexican folklore and other genres.
A subversive operation that reveals the game of attraction and repulsion between accepting the narratives that popular culture proposes to us or rebelling against them. The result is a fairy tale without white horses or concluding tunes, a game of contrasts between the search for freedom and the pleasure of wallowing in the turmoil of passion, between solitude and security.
LA MARIA, in her becoming desire, expropriates the concept of love, claiming the invention of her own identity starting from a political, sentimental and artistic autonomy.
